The real question is how much cash can I make by advertising on my car? The truth of the matter appears to be the amount can be quite substantial.
After doing some research, most programs say the minimum amount is $100 a month. Now, that's not too bad, but the average appears to be more like $400 a month. Okay, that's some serious cash. That's $4,800 a year and it's money that doesn't eat up extra time out of your day. Every other avenue of extra income I've researched requires time and that's hard to pack into my already busy day.
I drive about the standard 1,000 miles a month and average 45 miles an hour for all of those 1,000 miles. That means I'm driving for about 22 hours out of every month. That's 22 hours I can't be on the web, can't be working at my job (okay, I might get some work calls out of the way), and I can't work a second job. If someone paid me $400 a month for doing that driving I'm already doing, I'd suddenly be making $18 an hour for something I'm already doing.
Wow - when you lay the numbers out there, the amount of cash you can make for advertising on your car is not too shabby at all.
